How to run dual Telegram on a Mac

Two or more Telegram accounts in separate windows — each with its own chats, login and notifications.

Telegram's desktop app can hold a few accounts in one window, but they share a single app and you can only see one at a time. Parallel Spaces runs Telegram as separate, fully isolated instances — each in its own window with its own storage — so work and personal Telegram stay genuinely apart and visible together. Here's how to set up dual Telegram on your Mac.

Step by step

  1. Install and open Parallel Spaces — free on the Mac App Store.
  2. Create a Telegram space — pick the Telegram desktop app to spin up an isolated second instance.
  3. Name and badge it — "Work" or "Personal", with a colour and badge for the Dock.
  4. Launch and sign in — open the space and sign in with your second number. Both run side by side.

Why use Parallel Spaces for Telegram

  • Separate windows, not a switcher. See both accounts at once.
  • Fully isolated storage. Each account's chats and settings stay private to its space.
  • Native notifications per account. Never miss a message on either.
  • Scale up. Run three or more Telegram accounts — one space each.

Is it free?
